Homemade croutons always elevate your salads to the next level. Seriously. You’ll be amazed at what crunchy little bread cubes do. You can add any herbs you love, listed below is the combo that I make all the time for my family. The only prep work is cutting bread and tossing the cubes in seasonings. Then just bake for 10 minutes! Quick and simple…you know you want to try! Make some extra, you’ll be sure to snack on a few.
½ loaf Italian bread, or any bread (4 cups)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ cup parmesan cheese
1/3 – ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cut the bread into cubes. Put these cubes into a bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over the cubes, and then add the other ingredients. Toss so every cube becomes coated. Dump onto a baking sheet. Insert into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring the croutons halfway.
Serve and enjoy!
