I really wanted ice cream, but didn’t feel like going out to the store annnd I don’t have an ice cream maker…yet. After staring yearningly into the freezer for way too long, I decided to make some tasty fro-yo instead! It’s really easy to make and doesn’t require much effort (which was perfect since I could let it chill while I cleaned the house). It’s creamy from the yogurt, tartly sweet due to the raspberries, and very satisfying! There are only two ingredients in this recipe – raspberries and vanilla yogurt. That’s it. Simple, eh?

1 ½ cups vanilla yogurt (12 oz)

¾ cup frozen raspberries

Put the yogurt and raspberries into a blender. Blend until smooth.

Empty the mixture into a baking dish or plastic container. Insert into the freezer to chill.

After 40 minutes, remove the container from the freezer and stir/whisk it to break all the frozen bits up. Put back into the freezer and repeat this process every 30 minutes for the next 2 hours. Overall it will be 2-3 hours in the freezer before the consistency is creamy.

Serve and enjoy!
