Snacks with a white chocolate drizzle just seem special to me, so I like to give chunks of this as gifts or to serve it at parties I throw. The salt from the potato chips and pretzels bring the chocolate to an amazing flavor level…it’s out of this world and SO simple. I literally just throw it in the freezer and wa-lah, instant! Every time I make this recipe, I think of my best friend’s chocolate addiction…so this one is for all the chocolate lovers!

8 oz semi sweet chocolate

1 cup potato chips (with ridges)

½ cup pretzels (chopped)

1-2 oz white chocolate

1 teaspoon milk

Over a double boiler, melt the semi sweet chocolate (I use a sauce pan with a metal mixing bowl sitting in it. The saucepan contains a little bit of water…the steam from it will melt the chocolate. The mixing bowl contains the chocolate. I put the saucepan over medium-low heat and stir the chocolate until melted).

When the chocolate is melted, dump in the potato chips/pretzels. With a spoon, stir the mixture so everything is coated in chocolate. Dump onto a parchment paper lined plate. Flatten the mound into your desired thickness (I like about a quarter of an inch). Don’t worry about getting it into a perfect rectangle; you will break it up later. Put into the freeze for 15-20 minutes or until solid.

Over another double boiler, melt the white chocolate. It will seem thicker than the semi-sweet, the milk will thin it out. Whisk the milk into the white chocolate so that the consistency becomes creamy. Drizzle on the frozen chocolate slab. Put back into the freezer for another 5 minutes.

Break into chunks to serve at a party or snap the bark in half to give as a gift.

Enjoy!
