My parents always have leftover chocolate chips and potato chips at our house, so I got to thinking…if chocolate covered pretzels work, why not chips?! Allow it to cool into a chocolate “slab” to make potato chip bark…or give it a gourmet twist and individually dip each chip. Put a handful of the chips into a cellophane bag with a ribbon to give as a gift, or put in a bowl at your next party – your company will love these treats!

(My best friend loves salty and sweet…so this dessert is like heaven!)

1 bag of semisweet chocolate chips

1/3 bag of potato chips with ridges

Over a double boiler, melt the chocolate (I use a sauce pan with a metal mixing bowl sitting in it. In the saucepan, add water that does not hit the bottom of the mixing bowl. In the mixing bowl, add chocolate. Over medium-low heat, stir chocolate until melted)

Dip each chip.

Cool on a cooling rack in the refrigerator.

Serve and enjoy!
