Although I do most of the cooking for my family, my mom insists she makes the best smoothies. She blends together three different kinds of berries, almonds, and soy milk. Toss in a splash of vanilla and you’re good to go! I usually make my smoothies with juice, but her recipe is pretty good so I thought I’d share it with everyone. You can actually freeze this smoothie into ice pops and it turns out great. When I make my version of this recipe, I sneak in some extra frozen raspberries and a few ice cubes to make it extra chilled…just don’t tell my mom!
1 ½ cups strawberries
¼ cup blueberries
¼ cup frozen raspberries
10-12 dry roasted almonds
½ – ¾ cup vanilla or almond soy milk (or regular soy milk w/ dash of vanilla extract)
Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until a smoothie consistency. Serve and enjoy!

Soy milk is great but i still prefer the old school cows milk since it contains more calcium.
