Growing up, my mom always used to tell me I didn’t eat enough fruit….so I started blending fruit with ice cream, milk, or orange juice to make her happy. I fell in love with tropical fruit smoothies during the summer, so whenever I need a burst of summertime, I whip together one of these delicious drinks. The banana keeps it creamy, kiwi is slightly tart, and the mango is so sweet. I always like to garnish my smoothies with slices of fruit, so feel free to buy an extra kiwi for this exact purpose.
1 small banana
1 mango
2 kiwis
½ cup orange juice
1 cup crushed ice
Peel and chop the banana. Add to the blender.
Peel and slice the flesh of the mango, avoiding the pit. Add flesh to blender.
Peel the kiwis and add to the blender.
Add in the remaining ingredients and blend for 2 minutes, or until everything is pureed.
Serve and enjoy!

I love the combo of banana, mango and kiwi but I like to use some coconut milk instead of juice and it makes it so creamy and tropical tasting!

That’s a great idea! Adding coconut milk and a little rum would make a great cocktail in the summer too…fruity pinacolda anyone?
