My dog passed away today. She was with us for almost 19 years and hung out near me every time I cooked. Best helper ever <3 . I’ll be taking a few days off from the blog….talk to you all soon…keep cooking!

I’ve already told you, but seeing all the comments made me want to write for Ginger too. I’m sorry Stephaloo. Ginger was the sweetest old lady when I got to know of her, and I still have a picture of her with that flower in my phone. She had the best life, and the best master. If I was a dog, I’d be happy to be Ginger :) All will be well soon.

Hi Stephen I am so sorry about Ginger. She had a very long life. Now Ginger and Amber can play together again. She was a great fun loving dog who knew how much she was loved. She will always be in your heart

Hi Stephen, I am really sorry about Ginger, she looks so precious in the picture. I know exactly what you are going through. I experienced this 4yrs ago with my Cookie, and I was home when he passed. You will always have the great memories in your heart, nobody can take those away. As time goes by, you do heal and feel better.

I am so sory to hear about your loss of Ginger. I work with your Mom and know how difficult her last few weeks had been. I too have lost many four legged friends. AS time goes on your sadness will slowly pass BUT your fond memories will last forever. Just know she is in a better place where dogs sleep on clouds, eat treats abundantly and wait to be united with you once again. Lynn K.

Hi Stephen,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Ginger was a part of your family for so long. She lived a wonderful life and was so lucky to have lived in a loving home with you all. Having gone through this twice it is not easy but the pain will fade and you will always have the terrific memories you all shared. Always remember how happy she was being with you.
Love,Mary Ann

It saddened me to hear of Ginger’s passing. She was a beautiful girl. Having gone through this two times, I know too well that time, not words, will ease your pain. Please try to take comfort in knowing that she had a wonderful, long life and felt the love your entire family. She was a family member that you all cherished and, in her own doggy-way, she cherished you all, too. Your heart will hold the wonderful memories of the love she brought into your life and, in time, you will think of her with a happy heart.
