Sweet potatoes shouldn’t be covered in marshmallows….I really don’t understand why people never seem to eat their sweet potatoes savory! They’re already sweet! Why over do it in butter and sugar?! It’s so good savory…just try one of these and you’ll be hooked. This recipe is so simple and your family with be surprised on your savory sweet potato prowess J

2 large sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic power

1 teaspoon chili powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 400-425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wash and cut the sweet potatoes into sticks (about the size of fries).

Lay out on a baking sheet, without overlapping any of the sticks.

Drizzle with oil and sprinkle on the seasonings. Using your hands, mix everything so it is evenly coated.

Put into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until tender and slightly crispy.

Serve and enjoy!
