The gloppy, globby, super sticky and insanely sweet syrups kind of gross me out in the morning. Because of this irrational disgust, I like to whip together an incredibly simple topping for pancakes and waffles. It’s just a mix of applesauce, honey, and cinnamon! Simple and a much more healthy way to start your day!
½ cup apple sauce
½ cup honey
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a small bowl, whisk together the apple sauce, honey, and cinnamon until thoroughly combined.
Serve over warm pancakes, waffles, or even ice cream!
