This smoothie is so thick and creamy that you’ll think you’re eating a dessert…but it’s also so healthy! No sugar is added, just the natural sweetness of fruit. Drink it as a smoothie or freeze into popsicles, either way it’s a delicious treat.
¾ cup cherries (pitted)
½ cup ice cubes
1 vanilla flavored yogurt (6 oz)
½ cup milk
Rinse and pit the cherries. Add to blender.
Peel the banana. Break it into two or three pieces. Add to blender.
Add the remaining ingredients to the blender and blend until pureed, around 2 minutes. I start the blender on low and then switch the power to high to make sure the ice is broken up.
Pour into a glass and garnish with whipped cream if you’re having it for dessert.
